September was a really busy month at the Cloud Hotel and with such lovely warm weather our guests were able to enjoy our secluded garden as well as explore the New Forest. It was our pleasure to welcome back so many regular customers and also to extend our welcome to those customers who hadn't been before, I hope we will have the opportunity to welcome them back again.
Autumn is upon us now and the trees are just beginning to turn but if you want to see them at their best come and visit us last week of October and the first week of November.
Our winter tariff starts on November 1st when you can take advantage of our Autumn/Winter breaks. The New Forest has so much to offer throughout the year and is right on the doorstep of the Cloud Hotel. Wrap up warm and go for long walks and return to a roaring log fire during the winter months and for those more energetic people bring your bikes and explore the New Forest by bike. We have a secure covered bike shed where you can store your bikes overnight.
We only have the 4 poster bedroom left for our 4 day Christmas Break so if you are thinking of spending Christmas away don't leave it too late to book.
We are now taking bookings for our pre-Christmas lunch and dinner menu from December 1st until December 24th, once again don't leave it too late to book as some days are fully booked already.
Thank you to everyone who supported our World's Biggest Coffee morning on September 26th, we raised the grand total of £782-50 for Macmillan Cancer Support. All my staff worked so hard to make the morning a success and it was lovely to see so many of my friends and customers. Sadly I never have time to talk to everyone.
The Wessex Women's Network continues to meet every month, thanks to Jan Hoy we have some very interesting and entertaining speakers and we always have alot of fun!
Once again I am one of the judges for the NatWest everywoman awards this month. It's one of my favourite days of the year as I meet some really inspirational women who have overcome adversity and created some amazing businesses.
The year has just flown by but what a lovely summer we have had!
