I think we can say goodbye to winter at last and look forward to some bright sunny days. The spring flowers are in full bloom bringing colour to the hotel garden and it was so warm one day recently that we had customers sitting in the garden enjoying their morning coffee and afternoon tea. It's amazing how much happier everyone is when the sun is shining!
If you like visiting gardens there is nowhere better than Exbury Gardens when the rhododendrons and azaleas are in full bloom between May and June, the colours are really stunning and if you have difficulty walking there is a small steam train that takes you round the estate. Exbury is close to Beaulieu and about a 25 minute drive from the Cloud Hotel. May and June are very busy months at the Cloud Hotel so don't leave it too late to book if you want to enjoy Exbury Gardens and enjoy the New Forest when the foals are being born. May is one of my favourite months in the New Forest.
For those of you who enjoy cycling may I remind you that we have a secure covered bike shed for you to store your bikes overnight and we can provide you with cycling maps for you to explore the New Forest National Park.
Last night we had the pleasure of entertaining the carers of Alzeimers from Vitalise Netley Waterside House to dinner. We give these carers an evening away from their responsibilities each year so they can relax and enjoy each others company for an evening. It is part of the charity work we do at the Cloud Hotel and it gives both myself and my staff such pleasure to know we have given them an evening they can enjoy.
There are just a few rooms left for our Easter Break when you can stay for three nights and get 4th night free. We are keeping our fingers crossed for some warm weather.
I look forward to the pleasure of your company during the year.
